Phlebotomy Technician Program

The Phlebotomy Technician Program will teach you the technical skills of blood collection and will prepare you to perform venipunctures completely and safely. This program will also introduce the soft skills needed to work with patients, including how to explain the blood-drawing procedure to put the patient at ease. This program is comprised of  90 hours of classroom lecture and hands-on lab, and a clinical internship* opportunity of 40 hours at a local clinical site. Upon successful completion of this program, students would be eligible to take the following national certification exams: National Health career Association (NHA) Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Exam; National Workforce Career Association (NWCA) Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Exam
